I want to develop new tools to discover molecular mechanisms of the most intricate and elusive symbioses and understand how environment affects different symbiont-induced phenotypes. I am a structural biologist specializing in viral proteases and replication complexes. My work focuses on developing virus tracking technologies to capture the complete picture of infection within a living organism.

Navina Francis

PhD Student

I am a PhD student investigating the underlying molecular mechanisms of antiviral protection by the endosymbiotic Wolbachia in mosquito vectors and knowing how promising are cell line models in showcasing these mechanisms. In short, I will be spending most of my day with cute cells!

Ola Błażejowska

Project Manager / PhD Student

As a Project Manager, I coordinate organisational and administrative activities, ensuring the smooth running of projects, supporting the research team, and contributing to laboratory work.
At the same time, I have started PhD studies, developing my scientific interests and research skills in the field of protein interactions.

Wiktor Jakubowski

Research Technician

I am a molecular biotechnologist with a passion for genetic modifications, microbiology and immunology. In my role I provide essential support in laboratory research and scientific work. Outside the lab, I am a fan of well-brewed coffee.
