I want to develop new tools to discover molecular mechanisms of the most intricate and elusive symbioses and understand how environment affects different symbiont-induced phenotypes. I am Drosophila immunologist by training. I am expanding my niche as a researcher to understand host symbiotic relationship and assist in development of new tools to understand molecular mechanisms of symbiotic association.

Hanna Tutaj

Lab Manager

I am a geneticist with an interest in genomics and the genetic basis of symbiosis. Alongside my research interests, I also have the responsibility of ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Navina Francis

PhD Student

I am a PhD student investigating the underlying molecular mechanisms of antiviral protection by the endosymbiotic Wolbachia in mosquito vectors and knowing how promising are cell line models in showcasing these mechanisms. In short, I will be spending most of my day with cute cells!

Ola Błażejowska

Project Manager

I am responsible for the smooth running of the project. I hire people, order equipment and reagents, and handle all other documents around here.
